Located in Liudingshan, northwest of the scenic spot, the ancient tomb of Bohai Kingdom is one of the national key cultural relics protection units announced by the State Council. In 698 AD, the leader of the Sumo Department established the country of shock in Dunhua, and was later conferred the title of King of the Bohai Sea by Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, which spread for more than 200 years. In its heyday, "Five Capitals, Fifteen Houses and Sixty-two States" had a vast territory and had close contacts with Koguryo, Japan and other countries. It was called "Guo Sheng in the East" in history.
Bohai Kingdom has been established as its capital in Dunhua for 57 years. In addition to the ancient tombs, there are 24 stones in Dongmoushan City and Bohai Sea. As the tomb of the early royal aristocrats in Bohai Sea, Liudingshan ancient tomb is simple and integrated with the mountain landform. The ancient tombs include two tombs, totaling more than 100, among which the stone lions and epitaphs unearthed from Princess Hui Zhen's tomb are the most precious, which provide strong direct evidence for the study of Bohai history and culture and solve many outstanding problems in the study of Bohai history. At present, the ancient tomb has been included in the preparatory project of applying for world cultural heritage by the state. In order to carry forward the history and culture of the prosperous country, Dunhua built a towering Haidong Eagle landscape gate at the entrance of the scenic spot, which is the largest scenic spot gate in Northeast China at present. According to the plan, the Bohai Cultural Museum will also be built in the scenic area.
