Gutang Town is a town under the jurisdiction of Lianxi District, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province. Located at the eastern foot of Lushan Mountain, on the shore of Poyang Lake, it is 13km away from Jiujiang City. The town is surrounded by water on three sides and mountains on one side, and the Nine Planetary Highway passes through the town.

It faces Poyang Lake in the east, across the lake from Hukou County, Gushan Lake in the south, haihui town Mountain and Waters in the west, Jia Wei Town in the west, Zhu Qiao and Xinhua Village in the north, Niangchi River in the north and Tiankai Village in Yujiahe Township in the north.
