Hubei's new college entrance examination reform plan implements the "3+ 1+2" model. "3" refers to unifying the subjects of the college entrance examination as Chinese, mathematics and foreign languages; "1" and "2" are optional subjects, where "1" refers to the optional subject of 1 selected from physics or history subjects, and "2" refers to the selection of two re-examination subjects from ideological politics, geography, chemistry and biology.
The total score of candidates consists of three unified college entrance examination results and three ordinary high school academic level selection test results, with a full score of 750 points. Among them, the original scores of three unified college entrance examination subjects are included in the total score of candidates, with a full score of150 for each subject; Priority subjects (physics or history) are included in the total score of candidates using the original grades, with a full score of 100 for each subject; Re-examination subjects are included in the total score of candidates according to their scores, with a full score of 100 for each subject. (The information is for reference only, subject to the official final implementation notice)
In theory, students can change any of the three subjects as long as they sign up for the academic proficiency test. However, in practice, it is recommended to consider carefully. First, no matter which subject you study, you will encounter difficulties, and sometimes your grades will drop temporarily, which is normal; Second, after the course selection, all subjects began to learn elective courses. If you change subjects after a period of time, it will be difficult to make up the courses you have already taken.
Therefore, students are advised to comprehensively consider various factors, seek the opinions of parents and teachers, make scientific choices, and try to avoid changing majors.
Of course, if you find that your grades in a certain subject have dropped significantly, and your grades have been unsatisfactory for several times in a row, and after comprehensive consideration and analysis, you find that you are really not suitable for studying this subject, then you can carefully adjust your subjects.
