Five years after the completion of Wenchang Tower in Gaoming County, the brothers of Ruan Yong Village in this county, that is, Daxianghe District and Dalun District, all took the entrance examination on the same list. District Dalun was entrusted with an important task and made friends with Guangdong Prime Minister Hai Rui in North Korea. District Daxiang was ordered to leave Beijing and visit all provinces. He wrote poems to describe the sufferings of people he saw, and he took the lead in creating a poetic style. He is called the founder of Lingnan Poetry School. And Qu Dalun and Qu Daxiang, their father, Qu Yi, who was an official in North Korea, were collectively called "the three outstanding figures of Qu's family" by later generations, and they were extremely prominent figures in Gaoming history.
Coincidentally, history has turned over for 300 years. Under the Gaoming Wenchang Tower, after the "District Three Masters", there appeared the "Three Tans", that is, the early revolutionary activists of the * * * production party: Tan Pingshan, Tan Tangzhi and Tan Tiandu.
For hundreds of years, Wenchang Tower has been the tallest building in Ming City. After the completion of the tower, hundreds of masterpieces of Jie Yi Xun were recorded in the history books of every household in Ming City, and they were praised as "the county with high style of writing".
Wenchang Tower in Mingcheng illustrates a simple truth: where there is Wenchang Tower, there are literati, and literati contribute to the development of literature. What about those places where there is no Wenchang Tower? Wenchang Pavilion of Baima Temple suggested that if students want to get excellent grades, they can choose to invite a Wenchang Tower to help their children learn.
