Historical Evolution of Jiuzhou Middle School in Shenzhou City
Jiuzhou Middle School in Shenzhou City, located in Shenzhou City, Hebei Province, an old revolutionary base area, was founded in 1952. Its predecessor was Boling Academy in the 21st year of Qing Qianlong (1756), renamed Wen Rui Academy in the 25th year of Jiaqing (1820), changed to Shenzhou Middle School in the 28th year of Guangxu (1902), and in the 2nd year of the Republic of China (19 13).

1938 After the outbreak of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, a large number of intellectuals were recruited to participate in the Anti-Japanese War according to the needs of the situation. The Party Committee of Jizhong District decided to set up an Anti-Japanese War College in the No.10 Middle School directly under its jurisdiction, with Yang Xiufeng as the president and the specific affairs handed over to Shenzhou for help. The general policy of running the Anti-Japanese War College is that everything serves the Anti-Japanese War. On the day of the opening ceremony, Lv Zhengcao went to congratulate him and explained "On protracted war" to all teachers and students in combination with the situation of the Anti-Japanese War in Jizhong, refuting the "theory of quick victory" and "theory of national subjugation". In the course, Yang Xiufeng personally taught dialectical materialism, Wang talked about philosophy and political common sense, Liu and Sun talked about the United front, Chen Qiao talked about the situation of the Anti-Japanese War, Wu Liren talked about mass work, and Sun Li talked about the literature and revolutionary history of the Anti-Japanese War and international politics. Jing wong, former director of the State Technical Committee, minister of the First Ministry of Machinery Industry and secretary of the Tianjin Municipal Party Committee, also taught here. From then on, the Anti-Japanese War College began to compete with the Kuomintang for patriotic intellectuals. The Anti-Japanese War College was held twice and trained 2,700 students, many of whom became outstanding cadres and commanders of our party and army at that time and made outstanding contributions to the victory of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression. The establishment of the Anti-Japanese War College played an important role in the birth of new China and socialist construction.

1952, the party and the government decided to establish Jiuzhou Middle School in the former site of the Anti-Japanese War College.
