As early as the Shang and Zhou Dynasties, human beings had settled down and lived and multiplied. During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, the water plants were abundant, and the springs in the northeast merged into Wang, and Jia Wang was called the spring city.
Living near Wang, because there are many Jia surnames, it is called "Jia Jia Wang". In the eighth year of Guangxu reign in Qing Dynasty, Hu Enxie dug a well to build a mine in Wang Jiajia, which opened up Jiawang's century-old coal mining history. In the 24th year of Guangxu, Jiawang Coal Mine Company was established, and "Wang Jiajia" gradually became known as "Jiawang" and was known as "a century-old coal city".
