These five professional exhibitions are: the 6th China International Metalworking Expo, PTC asia (PTC, CeMAT Asia, ENERGYASIA and Factory Automation ASIA 2004. These five exhibitions will reach a total area of 60,000 square meters and are expected to welcome 50,000 professional visitors.
The above forecast is based on a series of statistical data after the exhibition in 2003. In addition to the metalworking industry exhibition, the other four exhibitions attracted more than 33,000 professional guests from 53 countries, an increase of 63% over the previous year. The number of exhibitors has also increased to 909, with a growth rate of 46%. In 2003, the area of these four expositions reached 40,000 square meters, an increase of 28% over 2002. In view of these data, Hannover Expo in Germany made a further bold attempt to include interrelated and complementary exhibitions and let them appear together in Shanghai New International Expo Center.
Eberhard Rohloff, a spokesman for Messe Deutschland, said: "In fact, we are trying to introduce the model of Hanover Expo to China, where we can show the interrelated fields and links of industrial production. China is willing to accept our intention, and the number of exhibitors is growing rapidly. China industry and China customers are very interested in this project. "
