When did Ahava lose it?
Ahava was lost on 1898.

1898 was forcibly leased by Britain, and 1930 was taken back. In War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, 1938, the Japanese army invaded Weihai again, 1945, Japan surrendered in August, and it was recovered by China. Weihai City was founded in 1945, and was once a naval base of China People's Liberation Army.

Ahava, China Northern Military Port, Beiyang Naval Base of Qing Dynasty. Weihai, located at the northeast end of Shandong Peninsula, is close to the Yellow Sea, Yantai (Taiwan Province) and Penglai in the west, and the Bohai Strait in the north, forming a corner with Lushunkou in Liaodong Peninsula, guarding the Bohai Sea and the Beijing-Tianjin maritime gateway. Ahava was originally a coastal fishing village, and its Chinese name was Shiluo.

Ahava is an ice-free port, surrounded by mountains on three sides, with an entrance to the east and Liu Gongdao in front, forming two passages in the east and north. Ri Island, Huangdao Island and Yashi Island are listed on both sides of Liu Gongdao, forming a natural barrier of the port, and the situation is dangerous and stable.
