The town 1998 was named as a well-off town by the municipal party Committee and the municipal government; 1999 was named "Hometown of Telephone" by Provincial Economic and Trade Commission and Provincial Posts and Telecommunications Administration; In 2000, it was rated as "demonstration township of villagers' autonomy" by the Civil Affairs Bureau; It is a "civilized township" named by the county government of Jiaxian County.
