Introduction of Rostov takeoff model
Rostov take-off model, also known as "Rostov model" and "Rostov theory of economic growth stages", is a historical model of economic development, which was put forward by American economist Rostov. According to this theory, all developed countries have passed the "take-off stage", while developing countries are still in the "pre-take-off preparation stage for sustainable growth". Only by following certain development laws can they get through the "take-off stage" and then enter their own sustainable economic growth stage.
