Why isn't cherry called China cherry abroad?
Cherry is not called China cherry abroad, which is normal. The same plant has different names in different countries and regions.

There are two kinds of cherries cultivated in China, one is called China Cherry (Little Cherry) and the other is called Big Cherry. China cherry originated in China and has been cultivated for thousands of years. Small size, bitter taste, thin skin, not resistant to storage and transportation. Big cherry, native to Europe and America, is big, sweet, thick-skinned and storable. Cherry has been cultivated in Yantai for 100 years.

Cherry is the English transliteration of cherry, which generally refers to imported big cherries. As a native of China, domestic cherry should not be called cherry, which is more intuitive, vivid and crisp.
