In the early days of liberation, Malong County was very small, with only one street passing through it. Now Ma Longcheng has grown from a "small county" to a "boutique city". Malong District belongs to Qujing City, Yunnan Province, bordering Qilin District and Zhanyi District in the east and northeast, luliang county and Yiliang County in the south, and Songming and Xundian County in the west and northwest.
