Baiyue history
This is related to the Battle of Baiyue in ancient Qin and Han Dynasties. At that time, Central Plains people collectively referred to the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River and the southern region as Baiyue, which was also named because of its geographical location.

1. The origin of Baiyue

The ancient name Baiyue refers to the place where Vietnamese live in the south. Baiyue is not a single nation or city, but is composed of many regions. Baiyue includes today's Guangdong, Fujian and other regions, and even the most densely populated Shanghai and Anhui at that time. There are two names in other ancient books, either Baiyue or Baiyue. Guangdong happens to be the symbol of Guangdong and Fujian.

2. The history of Baiyue

Baiyue refers to the south of China. At that time, the language of Baiyue people was different from that of Han people, so it was very difficult to communicate with the royal family. They have many races and surnames, which are very different from those in the dynasty, so they were even called Man Yue at that time. Their Hakka dialect is still a major feature, and today's Guangdong and Fujian dialects still retain the characteristics of that era.

3. The meaning of Baiyue

Baiyue covered a wide area at that time, including some ethnic minorities. In order to unify the country at that time, the Battle of Baiyue was launched in Qin and Han Dynasties. The Battle of Baiyue is also an important event in history. Because of the differences in surnames, languages, religions, customs and other traditions, it is difficult to achieve unity. Because of its remoteness, it often takes a long time to integrate. Baiyue is very important in history, laying a solid foundation for future historical development.

Generally speaking, Baiyue experienced a high degree of civilization in history, and their cultural customs were also a major feature at that time, which was one of the cradles of Chinese civilization.
