Basic survey of Xiaodian River
Xiaodian River was built in the 13th year of Qing Qianlong, and was built by Yan Bangbang, the tenth ancestor of Yan family. According to Yan's genealogy, Yan's ancestral home was in Shaanxi. After several migrations, Yan moved from Lu 'erzhuang in Linxian County to Ji 'an County (now Weihui City) in the ninth year of Yan Wujue. Later, in the thirteenth year of Qianlong, his son Yan Bang and his younger brother moved to the bank of the Cang River and built a small shop on the bank of the Cang River, so they named it Xiaodianhe.

According to the Records of Weihui City and Weihui Place Names, there was a family named Yan who opened a shop by the Cang River in the early Qing Dynasty, so it was called Xiaodianhe. According to the records of Yan's genealogy, Yan's ancestral home was in Shaanxi, and later moved to Lverzhuang, Linxian County. In the ninth Yan Tiandang, they moved south to Ji 'an County, and then to the tenth Yan Bang, at the behest of their mother, they moved to Xiaodianhe. He is the ancestor of the Yan family in Xiaodian River. Xiaodian River has an elegant environment, surrounded by mountains on three sides and water on one side, and the terrain is quite distinctive. From a distance, it looks like a giant turtle, with its head pointing to the Cang River, like a turtle exploring the water. The whole village is built on the back of a turtle, which is called the treasure land of turtle back. This village sits west to east, running through the north and south, with existing city walls, courtyard gates, ten courtyards, twenty-three courtyards and eighty-six houses. Its architecture is trapezoidal, and its architectural style adopts the hard mountain architecture popular in Ming and Qing Dynasties. According to research, Yan had three brothers during the Daoguang period. Due to the different life paths of the three brothers, they have left different models of buildings in the village so far. The boss emphasizes farming and weaving, and the buildings retain the traditional quadrangles with three doors and four households in the Central Plains, the hall-style buildings of the three hospitals, and the east-west trapezoid. This is what people often say: there are no three doors and four households. The second child has a good career. He copied Beijing's attic-style architectural drawings and built a palace-style attic manor, but it still has the architectural characteristics of the Central Plains. The quadrangles and four courtyards of the whole manor are magnificent and stand out from the crowd. The third son has a prosperous business, relying on being an official to do business and building several pavilions and courtyards in the rich village, including the basement. The homes for the aged and poor farm workers are large and wide, close to the north and south village walls. Xiaodianhe ancient village in Qing Dynasty has reasonable layout, large scale and beautiful scenery. The First Hospital: Yanshi Ancestral Hall, built in 1820 (twenty-five years of Jiaqing).
