Willis carrier's resume

190 1 year, Willis Carrier received a master's degree in mechanical engineering from Cornell University.

From 65438 to 0902, he worked as a heating engineer in the R&D department of Buffalo Forging Company, which produced heaters, bellows and exhaust fans.

On one occasion, Willis was waiting for a train in a foggy day when he suddenly had a brainwave. He deeply understands the relationship between temperature and humidity. He studied hard and constantly improved the device, and finally applied for a patent at 1906, inventing the first air conditioning device in history. Later, entrusted by the National Advisory Committee, he developed an air conditioner to simulate the polar climate, which was used for the test of military aircraft.

19 15, he and six other engineers set up an engineering company in new jersey, devoted to the research of air conditioning technology.

1922, Willis further improved his invention.

1924 successfully converted industrial air conditioners into civil air conditioners. The White House and the U.S. House of Representatives were his first clients.

1928, he successfully invented the first household air conditioner.

1930 carrier moved its headquarters to Syracuse, new york, and set up a branch in Japan to become a leader in the air-conditioning industry.

Now, Carrier is the world's largest supplier of HVAC and refrigeration equipment, and a global leader in providing energy management and sustainable building services.
