Due to the unification of the country, Shouchun did not become an important city in this area. However, in the Three Kingdoms period, Shouchun was located at the junction of warlords and became the focus of various forces, especially Wei, Wu and Shouchun.
Shouchun's first decision on the historical trend of the Three Kingdoms period was the Shouchun War, which took place in the second year of Ganlu, Cao Wei. In the late Cao Wei period, the Sima family had exclusive power, which caused dissatisfaction among some generals. Later, the generals who supported Cao Zhi were killed one after another, and Wu and others were also destroyed by barbarians. Seeing this, Zhuge Dan was also dissatisfied with Sima's ultra vires, so he joined forces with Soochow to launch a rebellion in Shouchun. After this battle, nearly 200,000 Zhuge Danjun and Wu Jun were wiped out in Shouchun, and the control of external forces was basically completed, which successfully eradicated the forces supporting Wei Emperor and laid an important foundation for Sima's claim to the throne and the establishment of the Western Jin Dynasty. Scholars in the Eastern Jin Dynasty believe that Sima's family can replace Wei's gift money, which is a great contribution.
