Who is the founder of German classical philosophy? What did he do?
Kant is the founder of German classical philosophy. Kant, known as the last major philosopher in the Enlightenment, is a representative figure in German ideological circles. A basic starting point of Kant's philosophical theory is that the theory of transforming experience into knowledge is innate, and we can't understand the world without innate categories.

His deeds:

I have lived in seclusion all my life, and I have never left my birthplace. My daily life is very regular, which is nothing more than getting up, drinking coffee, writing, giving lectures, eating and walking. I repeat the simple life of a scholar day after day and year after year, just like a machine, and it has never changed.

Kant lived in Europe, where feudal society was in transition to capitalist society. His philosophical thought reflects the German bourgeoisie's yearning for revolution, but it also shows the cowardice of duality and compromise. On the whole, Kant's philosophical thought has experienced two different periods of development: pre-critical period and critical period.

Kant has his own school system and a large number of works, among which three core works are collectively called "Three Criticism", namely, Critique of Pure Reason, Critique of Practical Reason and Critique of Judgment. These three works systematically expounded his thoughts, ethics and aesthetics respectively.

The criticism of pure reason is especially valued by academic circles, which indicates that the main direction of philosophical research has shifted from ontology to epistemology. It is an epoch-making masterpiece in the history of western philosophy and is regarded as the beginning of modern philosophy. In addition, Kant also has important works in philosophy of religion, philosophy of law and philosophy of history.

His theory combines British empiricism and European rationalism, which has a far-reaching influence on German classical philosophy and romanticism. Kant's moral philosophy theory is also famous.

1799, Kant published his last article "On the Relationship with Fichte Science". In this last work, Kant thinks Fichte's philosophy of science is worthless. This is Kant's last words as a philosopher. He left the stage of philosophy-he fulfilled his duty.
