1904, at the initiative of Hunan Governor Zhao Erxun, gentry Liang Huankui and Long once again raised funds to set up a library in the provincial wall and co-locate with the library and education hall. It is called "Hunan Provincial Library and Education Museum", which mainly displays human and animal models. After opening for about one year, the Education Museum was partially cancelled.
