Historical development:

The FA Cup is the oldest football match in the world. Football clubs at all levels in England hold one-on-one knockout matches. In the FA Cup, it often happens that low-level clubs eliminate high-level clubs. On May 14, 2022, Liverpool beat Chelsea 6-5 on penalties.

Traditionally, the FA Cup final is held at Wembley Stadium in London. Due to the reconstruction of Wembley Stadium, the FA Cup final was changed from 200 1 to Cardiff Millennium Stadium. In May 2007, the FA Cup final returned to Wembley.

The final of the FA Cup is usually held in the middle and late May. When the FA Cup final is held, the two teams will tie ribbons representing the colors of the two teams. After the game, the ribbon of the losing team will be removed, and the winning team will go up the stairs. The captain will accept and hold the trophy in front of the royal box.
