According to Feng Menglong's "Warning Story", Zhao Kuangyin once sent Jingniang to live here for a long time. Jingniang is from Yongji, Shanxi, and she is seventeen years old. She and her father went to Quyang to burn incense, eager to be robbed. When she met Zhao Kuangyin and saved her life, she was so grateful that she wanted to spend her life with her. However, Zhao said, "Xianmei is not an aunt, but she is loyal to me." It is not what a gentleman calls "kindness and kindness." Jingniang said, "My dear brother, your opinion is good. I shouldn't repay my kindness in my life, but I will die like a grass. " So Jingniang threw herself into the lake, and Jingniang Lake was named after it, leaving many beautiful and touching legends. Jingniang Lake originates from the upper reaches of the Beiming River and is formed by the confluence of two tributaries, so the lake is inverted "human"-shaped, winding 15 km, with a water surface area of 2,700 mu and a storage capacity of 32.08 million cubic meters.
