Baigongguan 1
Located in Shapingba District, Chongqing, it was originally the villa of Sichuan warlord Bai Juyi. 1939, the Military Bureau transformed it into a detention center for political prisoners. More than a dozen houses on the first floor and the first floor were turned into cells, and the underground storage room was turned into a dungeon.
1943, China-US Institute of Special Technical Cooperation was established. As the third guest house of the China-US Cooperation Institute, the detainees were transferred to the nearby dregs cave.
