Su Wu went through hardships and stayed in Xiongnu for nineteen years. It was not until the end of the Yuan Dynasty (8 1 year ago) that it was put back to the Han Dynasty. After the death of Su Wu, Emperor Gaozu Xuan Di listed him as one of the eleven outstanding figures in Qilin Pavilion, which showed his integrity.

Wen Tianxiang, a national hero in the Southern Song Dynasty, was defeated and captured, and spent three years in a dungeon, repeatedly refusing to discuss with the enemy. One day, Kublai Khan personally persuaded him to surrender, and Xu served as prime minister. He did not waver, but said firmly, "I just want to die for my country." Before the execution, the executioner came forward and said, "Premier Wen, if you change your mind now, you can not only avoid death, but also become the prime minister." Wen Tianxiang in anger, "dead died. What nonsense are you talking about! " Wen Tianxiang's generosity to the South left a touching song of benevolence and righteousness for the world.
Third, Qu Yuan threw himself into the river in despair.
In 305 BC, Qu Yuan opposed the conclusion of the Yellow Thorn Alliance with the State of Qin, but Chu completely embraced the State of Qin. Qu Yuan was also expelled from the capital by Chu Huaiwang and exiled to the Northern Han Dynasty. Qu Yuan was expelled from Du Ying. During his exile, Qu Yuan felt depressed and began to create literature. His works are full of attachment to Chu and enthusiasm for the country and the people.
In 278 BC, General Bai Qin sent troops south to attack the capital of Miluo. On April 10 in 278 AD (the fifth day of the fifth lunar month in 2293), Qu Yuan died in despair and grief. Legend has it that local people threw zongzi to fish to prevent Qu Yuan's body from being eaten by fish, and later it gradually formed a ceremony. From now on, the fifth day of the fifth lunar month is the Dragon Boat Festival. People will eat zongzi and row dragon boats to commemorate this great patriotic poet.
