The Historical Evolution of Zhuzhou County
In the 19th year of Jian 'an in the Eastern Han Dynasty, namely 2 14 AD, Wu and Shu ruled Xiangjiang River. Wu set up Jianning County to govern Zhuzhou in the east of Xiangjiang River. During the Three Kingdoms period, in the second year of Taiping (257), Jianning County moved to Gantian Town in the middle of Zhuzhou County, located on the east bank of Xiangjiang River, south of Gantian Town 1.5 km, and there is still Jianning Ancient City.

During the Jin Dynasty, Jianning County moved back to Zhuzhou.

In the ninth year of Emperor Wendi (589), Jianning was abolished, and Tang Gaozu Liyuan was restored, and then Li Shimin was abolished, which is still under the jurisdiction of Xiangtan County.

In the thirty-fourth year of Guangxu reign in Qing Dynasty (1908), Zhuzhou Hall was established, and all the areas east of Xiangjiang River in Xiangtan County were under its jurisdiction, bounded by Lukou boundary in Zhuzhou County in the south, Zhaoxiapu in Xiangtan in the north (now bordering Changsha) and Liling County in the Qing Dynasty in the east.

In the first year of the Republic of China (19 12), Zhuzhou Hall, which existed for nearly five years, was abolished and the territory was once again incorporated into the jurisdiction of Xiangtan County.

In the 23rd year of the Republic of China (1934), Zhuzhou Town, Xiangtan County was established. In the thirty-sixth year of the Republic of China (1947), Zhuzhou Town, Guanbai Township and Zhaoyang Township of Xiangtan County merged into Zhuzhou Township.

1949, 12 In August and June, the People's Government of Zhuzhou District of Xiangtan County was established, which governs Zhuzhou and Ouling Township.

195 1 in may, Zhuzhou was designated as a county-level city by Xiangtan county and was subordinate to Changsha Commissioner's office. The former Zhuzhou Town and the five villages of Taiping Bridge Township, Tanghe Township, Longzhou Township, Dajing Township, Guanbai Township, Bai Jing Township, Nanhua Township and Hehua Township in the first district of Xiangtan County are its administrative areas.

1956 In March, Zhuzhou was upgraded to a provincial city and a new suburb was established. 1June, 959, analysis was made on Lukou Town, Junba Township, Hongxian Township, Piaoshajing Township, Yaojiaba Township, Nanyangqiao Township, Zhouping Township, Zhu Ting Town, Leidashi Town, Umbrella Township and Xiangtan County.

1On April 30th, 965, Zhuzhou County was established with the approval of the State Council, separated from Zhuzhou City, with some suburbs of Zhuzhou City as the administrative area, and Lukou Town, the county seat, was under the jurisdiction of Zhuzhou City.

From 65438 to 0997, Zhu Ting Town and Huanglong Township jointly established Huanglong Town. 1997 On May 3 1 day, the State Council approved (Guo Han [1997] No.40) that Qunfeng Town and Ma Jiahe Township in Zhuzhou County were included in Tianyuan District of Zhuzhou City. 1998, Gu Yuefeng withdrew from his hometown to build a town; Hongxian Township merged with Piaoshajing Township to form Jing Xian Township. So far, Zhuzhou County has jurisdiction over 7 towns and 14 townships.
