1942, Huiwen Middle School and Changli County Middle School merged into Changli Middle School. 1952 65438+In February, the provincial government took over Huiwen Middle School and renamed it Hebei Changli Middle School (referred to as provincial middle school). 1955 was renamed Changli No.1 Middle School in Hebei Province, which was one of the key middle schools in Hebei Province at that time. During the Cultural Revolution, the name of the school was changed repeatedly. Tangshan Health School, Changli Town Middle School and Changli Chengguan Middle School were successively established on the former site of Huiwen Middle School, and were changed from 65438 to 0978 Changli County No.2 Middle School. 1June, 1993, with the approval of the Provincial Department of Education, the name of Changli Huiwen Middle School was restored.

In the spring of 2003, the county party committee and government made great adjustments to the layout structure of junior high schools in our county: the original Huiwen Middle School, Changli No.3 Middle School and Qinhuangdao Changli Fine Arts High School merged to realize pure high school education and take the road of standardized education.
