In the second year of Emperor Kai of Sui Dynasty (582), Daxing City was completed, and the new city began to become a part of the city.
In the Tang Dynasty, Daming Palace was built in the north of the city.
At present, the new urban area is still under the jurisdiction of Wannian County, with the jurisdiction of Tang Cheng 1 1 workshop, such as Dongfang Palace, Daming Palace Hanyuan Hall, Zhengxuan Hall and Yishan, Laiting, Guangzhai, Yongchang, Changle, Liuwangzhai, Daning, Xingning, Yongxing, Anxing and Yongjia.
After Sui and Tang Dynasties, Wannian County changed its name continuously.
In the third year of Emperor Kaidi (583), it was changed to Daxing County; In the first year of Tang Wude (6 18), it was renamed as Wannian County, and it was renamed as Xianning County in the seventh year of Tianbao (748), and it was renamed as Wannian County in the third year of Zhide (758).
In the first year of Kaiping in Hou Liang (907), it was renamed Danian County, and in the first year of Tongguang in the later Tang Dynasty (923), it was renamed Wannian County.
In the seventh year of Xuanhe in the Northern Song Dynasty (1 125), it was renamed Fan Chuan County; In the 21st year of Jin Dading (1 18 1), it was renamed Xianning County, and it remained Xianning County until the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
Xianning County was abolished in February of the 2nd year of the Republic of China (1913), and its jurisdiction was transferred to Chang 'an County, and the new urban area was led by Chang 'an County.
In the Republic of China 17 (1928), Xi 'an was established for the first time. The municipal district is located in Xi 'an city, which was originally Chang 'an, with four passes in the east, west, north and south.
The area belongs to Xi City, and the part outside the city is still in Chang 'an County.
In the Republic of China 19 (1930) and1/kloc-0, the organizational system of Xi 'an was abolished and the new urban area was transferred to Chang 'an County.
However, in fact, Chang 'an County gradually stopped managing Xi 'an Chengguan, and a few of its affairs were directly handled by the relevant provincial departments and bureaus, and most of them were managed by specialized institutions established in the province.
In September, 1933 (1944), the Xi 'an organizational system was established again.
In June of the following year 165438+ 10, the district-level organizational system was established, and the *** 12 district was named by ordinal number.
The new urban area is a part of the original four, five, eight and ten districts.

After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), Xi 'an was adjusted in 1954, and 12 was merged into 9 districts, and the fourth and fifth districts merged with the sixth township of the tenth district to form a new urban area.
