Jiuhua Mountain, called Ling yangshan and Jiuzi Mountain in ancient times, is one of the "four famous Buddhist mountains in China". It is located in Qingyang County, Chizhou City, Anhui Province, and is known as "the first mountain in the southeast". According to legend, due to the poem "Looking at Jiuhua and Giving Qingyang Wei Zhongkan" by Li Bai in the Tang Dynasty, "I was on Jiujiang yesterday and looked at Jiuhua Mountain from afar." Jiuhua Mountain is one of the sacred places for learning immortals in ancient times. According to "A Study of the Blessed Land", Jiuhua Mountain ranks 39th among the "seventy-two blessed lands" of Taoism. Taoism is the earliest religious activity in Jiuhua Mountain. According to "A Study of the Blessed Land", there are still many Taoist stories and poems circulating in Jiuhua Mountain, and many place names of Jiuhua Mountain are also related to these Taoist figures and legends. From the end of the Eastern Jin Dynasty to the middle Tang Dynasty, Jiuhua Mountain was the 39th among the 72 blessed places of Taoism. Today, the "True Peak", "Gexian Single Crystal" and "Gexian Cave" in Jiuhua Mountain are considered as the relics of the practice of Ge Hong and others. The widespread myths such as Lingyang County Magistrate Dou and Zi 'an Ascending Immortals in the daytime reflect that Jiuhua Mountain was one of the places where immortals practiced in the early days.
