History of the Golden Sage Tower
Jinsheng Tower has experienced many vicissitudes, including prosperity and destruction. According to historical records, the Golden Sage Tower has been rebuilt many times in history.

The first reconstruction was at the end of Yuan Dynasty and the beginning of Ming Dynasty. Chen Youliang and Zhu Yuanzhang attacked Nanchang, and the Jinsheng Tower was destroyed by fire. After the establishment of the Ming Dynasty, it was rebuilt in the first year of Hongwu (1368).

The second reconstruction was carried out in the fifty-second year of Kangxi in Qing Dynasty (A.D. 17 13). 1709 due to the disrepair of the tower, "the ground is full of servants, and there is not a tile left." It was rebuilt under the auspices of Governor Tang. In the forty-seventh year of Kangxi in Qing Dynasty (1708), Taqi was rebuilt in the fifty-second year, and was repaired several times later. This tower was built in Tongzhi for seven years (1868). The tower is a brick-wood structure with seven floors and eight sides, with a height of 59 meters and a circumference of 33.6 meters. There are cornices on each floor, doors leading to cornices on all sides, and stairs in the tower. This tower is the tallest classical building in Nanchang. Climb to the top of the tower and you can have a bird's eye view of the city.

Since then, it has been rebuilt for four years (1739), twenty years (1755), two years of Daoguang (1822), seven years of Tongzhi (1868) and twenty-two years of Guangxu (1886).

From 65438 to 0985, the people's governments of National Cultural Heritage Administration, provinces and cities allocated funds to repair the Golden Holy Tower. 1989 after maintenance, after more than ten years, natural damage is serious. At that time, the wooden components were corroded by rain and moisture, some were eaten by insects and ants, the gold-plated copper skin (tower gate) rusted, the paint mottled and fell off, and the masonry weathered.

In June 2000, with the care and attention of the leaders of the municipal party committee and municipal government and the support of all walks of life, Jinsheng Building regained its vitality.

After the renovation of 20 14 Jinsheng Building, the retro Jinta West Street reawakened the memory of old Nanchang. While retaining six residential buildings, the original commercial shops on the first and second floors adopt the transformation method of retreating the first floor and expanding the second floor, and the lower two floors realize the standardization of business formats through leaseback. While introducing snacks from all over the country, we mainly focus on Nanchang specialty snacks. In terms of format layout, 3 1 households have been successfully screened. The whole block is divided into five parts: A, B, C, D and E. Among them, Area B is a Chinese time-honored brand, which is dominated by local time-honored enterprises and takes into account well-known domestic time-honored brands.
