The development of bamboo paper production technology experienced the low-quality period of bamboo paper in Jin, Tang and early Song dynasties, and the technology was continuously improved, and finally reached the high-quality level of paper that calligraphers also loved to use. Since then, bamboo paper has swept the world, and its output has gradually surpassed that of leather paper and hemp paper, becoming an important variety of China paper industry. In the history before the emergence of machine production, the inheritance of hand-made papermaking skills from generation to generation is the premise of the continuous development of bamboo and paper manufacturing industry. As far as the production time of bamboo paper technology is concerned, the earliest production time of bamboo paper in Europe is19th century, and the production technology of bamboo paper in China is about 1000 years earlier, which can be regarded as one of the long-standing handicraft skills in the traditional culture of Han nationality in China.
