Although it is not as famous as the Hongfeng Ancient Road and Baizhangkuang scenic spots in Wencheng, it is also a small town with beautiful scenery and outstanding people, with national 4A scenic spots such as Zhailiaoxi.
Nowadays, it has more cultural relics and historic sites, and a new ancient street is called "the place where celebrities punch cards online". On this street, which is only 450 meters long, buildings from the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China are gathered. By the end of 1 1, the ginkgo trees on the street had turned yellow and were very beautiful in the sun. I wonder if you have heard of this ancient street?
The name of this ancient street is Zhong Yi Block, and it has three entrances, namely Hongqiao North Road, Posts and Telecommunications North Road and Song Wan West Road. There are historical buildings such as Yuhailou, Li Ji yiguang, Lan Xin Bookstore, and countless residential alleys, which present the style of the late Qing Dynasty and the early Ming Dynasty and are the traditional historical and cultural landscape of Rui 'an.
Entering from the east entrance, the first building in the late Qing Dynasty on the left is Yuhai Building, which is one of the four warehouses in the south of the Yangtze River and the former residence of Sun Yirang and Sun, famous ministers in the late Qing Dynasty. There are black tiles and white walls, pavilions and small bridges in the house, showing the characteristics of Jiangnan official residence.
It is reported that there used to be 890,000 books here, and now most of them have been collected by Hangzhou University. Now, tourists go to visit more parts of Sun Yirang's former residence, the famous Yuhai Building, which is temporarily closed to the public, but they can still feel the charm of the ancient buildings here.
Opposite Yuhai Building is Li Ji Medical College, which was established in 1885. It is the earliest new traditional chinese medicine school in China. During the closure of 1885 to 18 1902, more than 300 outstanding Chinese medicine practitioners were trained. Later, Wenzhou Yongjia Chinese Medicine Association and Chinese Medicine Association all originated from.
This building is a simple gray brick wall. The gatehouse is equipped with a portal platform and a decorative head on the bluestone door frame. The words "Li Ji Hospital" are engraved on the bluestone tablet. After approaching the front hall, the blue-and-white porcelain altar and green plants visited in the hospital, the east and west wing rooms are made of brick and wood, marked with consulting room and pharmacy, and the classroom and herb garden are behind the main building. The whole building is in the form of quadrangles.
Further on, there are some elegant shops, such as cafes, clothing stores and food stores. These are all worth visiting carefully until an art museum caught my attention. There are three floors in the art museum, and the calligraphy works of Wenzhou calligraphers are displayed on the lower two floors, which also attracts many people to enjoy. Although there are no exhibits upstairs, there is a rooftop with a panoramic view of Zhong Yi Street from top to bottom.
After leaving the art gallery, walk a few steps forward and we will arrive at the visitor center. In front of the visitor center, there are old people selling candy people and gadgets. With the dancing of the old people, a lifelike candy man came out in a moment. Children who come and go always have satisfied smiles on their faces.
This is also a T-junction. On the other side of the road is the north entrance of the block, which is an ivory stone archway. It says "Zhanque Gate", which is three rooms wide, with a door in the middle and small doors on the left and right, but it is only one third of the middle door. There are exquisite lotus patterns on the arch.
Next to the archway is the ginkgo tree, which is already full of autumn, adding vitality to the quaint streets. In fact, there are not only ginkgo trees here, but also many ginkgo trees planted in Zhong Yi Street. Some leaves have turned yellow, and some are still in the stage of yellow-green connection, which makes people feel the autumn of the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China.
In addition, there are several bronze sculptures in the street. Some scholars are playing chess and piano, some children are yawning, some people are pulling carts to show their historical features, and there are also scenes in which the elderly educate the younger generation to read. Every scene is lifelike, which makes people look back frequently.
The red lanterns in the street are also signs. There are many blessings in different sizes and fonts on lanterns, not only in Zhong Yi Street, but also in some undeveloped residential alleys. Every household hangs a string of lanterns like this, which is a bright color in the black tile and gray wall, which is a good wish.
Keep walking along Zhong Yi Street, and you will come to Dashadi, an alley full of houses. Some people sell vegetables, others sell Ryan specialties, as well as fruit shops, breakfast shops, clothing stores and so on. The fireworks are full of flavor and unadorned. Go along this alley, and you will find many other alleys. Feel free to walk around and experience the life of local residents in Ryan.
Go back to Dashadi, and you will continue to see Hanfu Museum, Ruian Drum Opera and other folk museums. When you come to the end, you will reach the west entrance. There are several huge stone tablets at the entrance, on which Zhong Yi Street is written in Chinese characters.
Many tourists will bring their children here to experience history and culture and teach them what loyalty is. Some students will meet some friends, put on Hanfu and walk in the street to take pictures. Others will take sketches and draw the charm of ancient buildings. No matter who comes here, there will always be unique fun.
