The ancient houses in Xiashan are:

1. The former site of the French Embassy in Guangzhou Bay, located in Haibin Road, xiashan district, was built in 1903. This is a two-story building with reinforced concrete structure and a basement. Facing Guangzhou Bay, this building was once the highest authority of Guangzhou Bay Concession in France.

2. Victoria Catholic Church, located at the approach of xiashan district Road, also known as Xiashan Catholic Church, is majestic and surrounded by flowers and trees. It is the only Gothic church in Zhanjiang and one of the national key churches.

3. The former site of Guangzhou Bay Police Station, located in xiashan district, opposite to the French Embassy in Guangzhou Bay, is now the office building of Xiashan Public Security Bureau.

4. The former site of the French Agricultural Credit Bank (formerly the French Commercial Bank, now the business department of Zhanjiang Industrial and Commercial Bank) is located at the intersection of Zhi Min Road and Yan 'an Road in Xiashan.

5. The Gospel Church of Xiashan is located in Yan 'an Road, xiashan district, which is a place for Christians to carry out religious activities in Zhanjiang.

These places are European-style modern buildings introduced from western buildings during the French rule in Zhanjiang, and they are all near Xiashan Sub-station. If you start from Mazhang Station, take bus 1 and sit at the end of the station.

As for the oyster shell house you mentioned, it may be on the other side of Shi Ping, but I have never been there.
