The origin of Arbor Day
19 15 In July, at the initiative of Sun Yat-sen, the then Beiyang government officially ordered that Tomb-Sweeping Day be designated as Arbor Day every year. Designated place, selected tree species, governments, institutions and schools at all levels in the country to participate in the reservation, hold Arbor Day ceremony and engage in tree planting.

After it was approved on July 2 1 of that year, the country was ordered to abide by the timetable. Since then, we have Arbor Day.
