Monkey Town is a town under the jurisdiction of Weining County, Bijie City, Guizhou Province. Located at the east gate of Weining County, 69 kilometers away from the county seat, with a total area of 125.73 square kilometers. It is adjacent to Wangjiazhai Town in Zhongshan District in the east, Ertang Town in the west, Zhu Shi Township in Hezhang County in the north and Shuangga Township in Shuicheng County in the south. Administer 16 administrative villages, 84 villagers' groups and 13806 mu of cultivated land. There are 5,774 households with 27,976 people, inhabited by Han, Yi, Mongolian, Qing Chuan and other ethnic groups, among which the minority population accounts for 24% of the total population. Neijiang-kunming railway, Liu Zhan double track, Shuida railway branch line, provincial road 102 and provincial road 202 pass through the territory.
