Where is the stone dike site of Huaihe River in Xuyi?
Xuyi Huaihe River Shidi Site is a cultural relic protection unit in Jiangsu Province.

Xuyi Huaihe Wetland Site is located on the east bank of Huaihe River in the north of Xuyi County, in the area of Laochuantang, Matou Street and Beimen Street in Qian Jie. In order to resist the Huaihe River flood, many dikes were built in Xuyi history to protect the city. The existing Huaihe River stone dike was built in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, about 750 meters long, with a northeast-southwest trend, and was made of long strips of stones. The Huaihe River Wetland Site in Xuyi, Ming and Qing Dynasties has both flood control and city protection functions. It is an important historical evidence of the Huaihe River water level and river course changes, and it is of great value to study the Huaihe River regulation, the formation history of Hongze Lake and the urban changes in Xuyi.
