Content abstract: The American Trilogy is the most famous representative work of Borsting, a famous American historian and former director of the Library of Congress. The three volumes won the Bancroft Prize, the parkman Prize and the Pulitzer Prize respectively. About the author: A famous American historian and sociologist, he has long been the curator of the National Museum of History and Technology affiliated to the Library of Congress and the Smithsonian Institution, and has been employed as a researcher at Trinity College, Cambridge University. He has written more than 20 books, translated into at least 30 languages and sold millions of copies all over the world. Among them, the most famous are his American history trilogy "Americans" and his world history trilogy "Discoverers, Creators and Explorers".
