Model essay: Research on individualized reading and writing teaching under the new curriculum.
Moderator: Qian Ping, Jingjiang Senior Middle School, Jiangsu Province
First, the background and significance of this experiment.
The promulgation of "Outline of Basic Education Curriculum Reform (Trial)" and "New Chinese Curriculum Standard for Primary and Secondary Schools" points out the direction of Chinese teaching reform in basic education, gives a new definition to modern Chinese teaching, and puts forward that Chinese teaching should be based on promoting students' development and laying a foundation for their lifelong study, life and work. In the teaching process, students should be educated in patriotism, socialist ideological and moral education and scientific thinking methods, so as to cultivate their understanding and spirituality, stimulate their creativity, cultivate their interest in beauty, develop their healthy personality and cultivate their good will. Chinese curriculum must be based on students' physical and mental development and the characteristics of Chinese learning, pay attention to students' individual differences and different learning needs, cherish students' curiosity and thirst for knowledge, fully stimulate students' initiative and enterprising spirit, and advocate independent, cooperative and inquiry learning methods. Emphasize the cultivation of students' independence and autonomy, and study actively and individually under the guidance of teachers.
Cultivating innovative ability and practical ability is the core of quality education. Personalized reading and writing teaching focuses on cultivating students' language and writing ability, improving students' Chinese literacy and excavating the humanistic connotation in Chinese education. Writing is an important way of using words to express and communicate, a process of understanding the world, self and creative expression, the originality of spiritual products, and writing ability is also a comprehensive embodiment of Chinese literacy. Cultivating students' reading and writing ability is of great help to students' good thinking quality and moral cultivation.
Second, the progress of the project experiment
1. Scheme formulation
As a traditional course, Chinese has the characteristics of instrumentality and humanity. We must realize that Chinese curriculum should be devoted to the formation and development of students' Chinese literacy. Guided by modern education and teaching theories such as personalized teaching theory and new curriculum standard concept, taking classroom teaching practice as the main research channel, starting from two basic elements of teaching, namely teachers and students, we should pay attention to the construction of teachers' teaching methods and students' learning methods, strive for harmonious interaction between teachers and students, break through the traditional teaching methods, let teachers teach individuality and students learn individuality, and achieve the goal of "promoting improvement through scientific research, promoting improvement through development and seeking quality through development".
2. The focus of the study
The basic value orientation of the new curriculum is: for the development of each student, let each student's personality be fully developed and cultivate colorful personality. Psychological research points out: "Thinking ability is the core of human intelligence. Cultivating young people's thinking ability is the central task of teaching. " Traditional teaching is instilled by teachers, passively accepted by students, good at analysis and single in teaching form. Obviously, students' thinking is seriously bound, let alone cultivating colorful personality. What kind of teaching means and methods are adopted in teaching to cultivate and train students' thinking ability, realize personalized teaching, learn from each other's strengths, make progress together between teachers and students, and improve teaching quality is an urgent problem to be studied and solved. Based on this, we determine the following aspects as the focus of research:
(1) The present situation and countermeasures of writing teaching.
(2) Individualized reading and writing teaching and the cultivation of Chinese teachers' innovative consciousness.
(3) Scientific thinking training system in personalized writing.
(4) The blending and integration of writing teaching and Chinese classroom.
(5) Resource development in the process of personalized writing.
Through key research, the following objectives have been achieved:
(1) classroom teaching: teachers and students are democratic, the atmosphere is relaxed, students' interest and enthusiasm in learning are improved, autonomous learning and cooperative inquiry are formed, and students' personality is developed;
(2) Team building: accumulate experience and teaching cases of Chinese teaching reform, improve teachers' professional quality and scientific research ability, train academic backbones and academic leaders for the school, and improve the quality of Chinese teaching in our school;
(3) Students' ability: improve students' reading and writing level, and at the same time promote the formation and development of students' thinking quality and sound personality.
3. Main research methods:
① Investigation and research method: In the research of the subject, we conducted a questionnaire survey on students to understand and master the current situation and confusion of students and teachers in teaching, so as to adjust teaching strategies in time.
(2) Literature analysis: The research group collects, sorts out and draws lessons from relevant theories, practical experiences and teaching cases at home and abroad in time.
③ Action research method: Through a series of social activities, let students observe and feel constantly in their lives, and pay attention to digging and accumulating materials.
④ Experience summary method: classify and sort out the data collected in practice, and summarize the experience and methods with popularization value.
4. Organization and implementation of the theme experiment
The project started from 2006 to 2009 and was implemented in three stages:
(1) initial stage: June 2006 10 to September 2007: change ideas and update them. Make plans, make clear ideas, make good plans, organize experimental teachers to learn the relevant theories of "personalized teaching", and require teachers to make clear students' dominant position, respect students' own experiences, respect students' individual differences and implement personalized teaching.
(2) The period from 2007 10 to September 2008 is a critical stage: theoretical innovation and breakthrough. Explore the relationship between personalized Chinese teaching and cultivating students' thinking ability, especially creative thinking ability.
(3) Summary period from June 5438+00, 2008 to June 5438+00, 2009: Summarize the conclusion with integral. Analyze and sort out the test data and data statistics in each stage, write the experimental report and introduce the experimental methods.
The specific practices of each stage are summarized as follows:
(A) the initial stage: change ideas, update ideas.
1. Leaders attach importance to it, and the backbone participates in it, updating ideas and deepening understanding.
After the project was started, all members of the Chinese group participated in it, studied the Outline of Basic Education Curriculum Reform (Trial) and the new curriculum standards of Chinese, and carefully studied the overall plan and implementation plan of individualized Chinese teaching experimental research in the new curriculum. The teachers of the research group communicated with each other and realized the disadvantages brought by traditional teaching. Through study and discussion, the understanding of the subject has been deepened, and at the same time, a new teaching window has been opened.
2. According to the reality of our school, make the project plan and make clear the experimental research ideas.
At the beginning of the topic, teachers are required to change their ideas, implement classes from the first experimental class, clarify students' dominant position, respect students' own experience, respect students' individual differences and implement personalized teaching. Combined with the characteristics of Chinese teaching, it is clear that we should attach importance to Chinese foundation, cultivate students' good study habits and improve students' interest in learning Chinese. The Chinese teaching and research group of our school has made extensive explorations around the topic "Research on individualized reading and writing teaching under the new curriculum". As the project leader, I led the whole research group to make the following attempts.
First, carry out the "classic review" reading project
Reading has been regarded as a way to spread human culture, absorb the essence of thought, cultivate aesthetic taste and improve spiritual realm since ancient times. The new curriculum standard requires that on the basis of reading in class, students should "read literary classics (10 or above), popular science books and other reading materials outside class, with a total amount of not less than 3 million words". The new college entrance examination, which adapts to the new curriculum reform, also explicitly includes ten masterpieces in the scope of college entrance examination in Jiangsu Province. Therefore, it is an urgent task for Chinese teachers to make a bibliography for students and guide them to use their spare time to accumulate reading. After careful study, the Chinese teaching and research group of our school decided to play chess in grade three, and three-year senior high school students must have a complete reading plan.

Reading communication
In addition to reading the classics recommended by the Ministry of Education, we also ask students to do the following:
1. Three "ones" every day: students are required to read an ancient poem every day; Exchange a motto before class; Go home and recite a proverb to your parents.
2. A "one" every Wednesday: write a reading experience every week; Hold a book club to promote and accumulate each other in communication; Once a week, a special lecture will be given, and Chinese teachers will work together to guide the basic theory of writing.
In order to cooperate with the reading plan, all grades pay special attention to the arrangement of reading and writing in their homework in peacetime and winter and summer vacations. For example, winter vacation homework, who was arranged in the first year of high school in 2006, is
(1) Reading: Complete the reading task of Luo Guanzhong's Romance of the Three Kingdoms, the recommended project of the new curriculum standard; You need to take reading notes when you are studying, and you will hold a reading report meeting to communicate after school starts.
(2) Writing: Four short essays have been completed, two of which are reflections on the Romance of the Three Kingdoms or literary appreciation.
(3) Accumulation: Complete the task of reciting 20 poems and their appreciation content, one poem a day, and select 5 poems for examination in the homework exam before school starts.
In order to adapt to the requirements of the syllabus and the trend of the new curriculum reform, the Chinese preparation group of Senior Two launched a series of school-based courses on reading literary classics in 2007. The teachers brought the students a banquet in the Red Chamber, which explained the enduring charm of Fortress Besieged and Hamlet. Let senior two students enter the palace of literature and enjoy a cultural feast. From June 5 to February 2007, at the campus culture and art festival, our school held the "Hongyi Reading Report", and the students exchanged their reading experiences and feelings. With the development of various activities, reading has really become a kind of "pleasant reading". Reviewing the classics has enabled students to cultivate their sentiments, release their thoughts, accumulate materials, broaden their horizons and become the source of students' writing. In 2008, the famous work Kuai Tong Tong written by Mr. Lu, a Chinese group, was published, which became an auxiliary material for liberal arts students to read famous works.
Second, create a cultural atmosphere in Chinese classroom and stimulate students' interest in writing.
1. Create a personalized classroom teaching situation
The school posted famous sayings and aphorisms on the classroom walls, and set up book corners to circulate books in students' homes. 2. Mining writing materials in textbooks
A large number of beautiful articles have been selected in the new textbook of senior high school, which are both good texts and good materials. Integrating teaching materials and guiding students to apply them to composition are practical and effective measures to improve students' composition level. To this end, our senior three Chinese preparation group has done a lot of work and compiled a unique school-based composition textbook. In 2007, the group leader of senior three showed this achievement in the open teaching of our school, which was well received by the brother schools.
Third, the integrated action inside and outside the classroom.
1.06 In 2006, the school-based course Happy Composition was set up in the preparation group of Senior One, and in 2008, the school-based course Classic Reading was set up, and columns were set up on the campus network and the school newspaper, and periodicals were issued regularly to solicit and publish students' works.
2. Invite experts to give lectures in our school. Professor Wang Liqun's lectures have improved students' interest in classical literature, and the lectures by writers Bi Feiyu, Qi Zhi and Fan Xilin have liberated students' imagination and stimulated their creative enthusiasm. The school TV station regularly broadcasts famous works, such as the wonderful program of Lecture Room, which improves and sublimates students' appreciation ability and is warmly welcomed by students.
3. Reorganize Jijiang Literature Society, hold composition lectures and competitions from time to time, and improve students' interest in writing with colorful forms. In 2007, the Chinese Language Group organized students to participate in three provincial composition competitions. In the 6th "Middle School Students and Society" on-site composition contest in Jiangsu Province, Gu Biyang won the special prize in the senior high school group and Jia Zhu won the second prize. In the "College Entrance Examination Composition Cup" sponsored by the Provincial Education Association, Xu Tianjiao of our school won the special prize, while Zhan Nan, Tian Xiaobei and Qin won the first prize. Cai Hui, Guo Yu and Zhou Yiren won the second prize, and our school won the Excellent Organization Award. In the final of the 7th Middle School Students' On-the-spot Composition Competition sponsored by the Education Department, three students, Zhu Shen, Tian Xiaobei and Ju Yun, won the first prize in the province. The Chinese group counsels students to participate in the provincial middle school students' on-site composition contest. Class 3 (19) Wei Dai and Class 3 (2 1) in our school often won the first prize of the first "College Entrance Examination Cup" innovative reading and writing competition, and obtained the independent enrollment qualification of Nanjing University. Zhao, a senior one (3) student, won the first prize in the senior high school group in the seventh "Middle School Students and Society" on-site composition final in Jiangsu Province. On June 23rd, 2008, 165438+ Our school organized some students to participate in the 2nd Jiangsu High School Students' On-the-spot Composition Competition sponsored by Jiangsu Education Society. Qian, a player in our school, won the special prize, and five students, including Zhao, Zhao, Sun and Sun, won the first prize 1 name, four second prizes and eight third prizes. Our school was awarded the "Excellent Organization Award". In 2008, students were organized to participate in the essay competition "I have an appointment with Classics". In Grade 7 of Grade 3, Sun Xiwei and Wei Yanbo won the provincial first prize, and another 20 students won the provincial second and third prizes.
4. Organize colorful activities to stimulate students' interest and expand classroom knowledge. In May, 2008, a dictation contest of famous poems and sentences was held in the whole grade, and a recitation contest of Tang and Song poems was also held. Students write their own lines, host their own, and recite their own titles and songs. After fierce competition, Chen Jingwen of Class 7, Grade 2, stood out and participated in the "Elegant Classics" in Jingjiang and Taizhou successively.
5. In 2009, with the unity and cooperation of the Chinese Language Group, the rematch of the second "College Entrance Examination" Cup (East China) Innovation Reading and Writing Competition was successfully held in our school. Two senior three students in our school won the first prize in the reading and writing competition and obtained the qualification of independent enrollment in the university; Two students from our school won the first prize in the 9th Jiangsu Senior High School Students' On-the-spot Composition Competition of "Soviet Education International Cup". A classmate won the first prize in the eighth "Middle School Students and Society" on-site composition contest of "New Chinese Studies Cup"; Seven students won the first prize in the "College Entrance Examination Composition Cup" on-site composition contest in Jiangsu Province. Zhao represented Taizhou in the first national summer camp for primary and middle school students, and our school was rated as an advanced school in language and writing work in the province.
Fourth, integrate into life and pay attention to practice
"Chinese is life, and life is Chinese." We often organize students to carry out research study and investigation activities. Life is the source of creation. In their spare time, organize students to visit places of interest, the origin of place names, traditional customs, food culture and so on in their hometown. , so as to broaden their horizons and let them realize that there are many writing materials in life. In 2006, senior one students used the winter vacation to make an in-depth investigation and study on the cultural phenomenon reflected by Jingjiang store name, and wrote an investigation report. After the Wenchuan earthquake in 2008, the Chinese Language Group cooperated with the Youth League Committee to carry out the essay-writing activity of "A Letter to Children in Disaster Areas" in Grade One and Grade Two of Senior High School, advocating students to look to the society and pay attention to life, thus cultivating students' humanistic feelings and exercising their various abilities.
(2) The stage of tackling key problems: theoretical innovation and breakthrough.
1. Theoretical learning is the foundation and innovation is the foundation. All the members of the research group had a serious exchange and discussion, and made a serious reflection on the actual research of the school. It is along this idea of teaching reform and scientific research that members of the Chinese language group actively write papers every semester. In the past three years, dozens of papers have won the first and second prizes in the paper competition.
2. We take classroom teaching as the main research channel, grasp the key points, explore the new mode of personalized teaching, and explore the relationship between personalized teaching and developing students' thinking.
Teaching mode is a bridge between educational theory and practice. Personalized teaching theory can be implemented in personalized teaching through a certain teaching mode, so as to achieve the purpose of popularizing experience. In the research process, the teachers of the research group summed up in time and applied the successful experience to the teaching practice. Through the teaching of independent reading, cooperative inquiry and teacher-student interaction, the charm of Chinese classroom is displayed, and the personality of students is also reflected. In 2006, my head teacher, Mr. Yang Lin, won the second prize in the evaluation of provincial Chinese excellent courses; In 2008, our group teacher Rong stood out in the evaluation of provincial Chinese excellent courses and won the first prize; In 2009, Mr. Yang Jun won the second prize in the evaluation of provincial Chinese excellent courses; Teacher Ding Jie won the first prize of Taizhou Chinese excellent course evaluation. Teachers such as, Qian, Rong, Cao Chengyu, etc. are all qualified for circulating teaching in senior high schools.
(3) Summary stage: using integration, summary and induction.
Hard exploration has produced gratifying experimental results. The first thing we see is that the teaching concept of experimental teachers and other teachers has changed. They realize that teaching also needs to keep pace with the times, and they can gradually realize the importance of guiding practice with new theories. The teaching methods are flexible and the teaching methods are much richer. Young teachers also enter from a high starting point, grow up in experiments, and can skillfully control the classroom and implement personalized teaching. The teaching and research results brought by the project experiment are obvious and gratifying. Teachers' professional quality has been improved, teaching and scientific research ability has been enhanced, classroom teaching has taken on a new look, students' learning enthusiasm has been improved, and college entrance examination scores have risen steadily. However, we clearly realize that this is only a good beginning to improve the education and teaching level of our school. In the next teaching and scientific research process, we will continue the experimental research spirit of the topic "Teaching Chinese Personalized Reading and Personalized Writing", and deeply explore and expand the connotation of students' autonomous learning, cooperative inquiry, training thinking and personality development.
Third, the subject needs further in-depth study.
The project has been carried out for three years, and a systematic theoretical system has been formed. It has made useful explorations in cultivating students' learning interests and habits, cultivating students' independent, cooperative and inquiry learning methods, and developing students' thinking ability, especially creative thinking ability. However, there are still many practical problems to be solved urgently. For example, how to promote students' transformation from acquiring knowledge to forming ability, how to promote the all-round and healthy development of students' personality in personalized Chinese teaching, and the evaluation of personalized teaching are all issues that we will continue to study in the future.
The road to educational reform is arduous, but only this kind of hardship can bring us happiness and joy. We have made some achievements, but this can only serve as the basis for our future experiments. We will take this as the driving force, keep pace with the times and forge ahead.
