1, Pingcheng: refers to the old capital of the Northern Wei Dynasty, located in Datong City, Shanxi Province today. Tuoba GUI, Emperor Daowu of the Northern Wei Dynasty, moved the capital to Pingcheng in 398 AD and established the Northern Wei regime. Pingcheng was the political, military, economic and cultural center of the Northern Wei Dynasty, and also the settlement of Xianbei people.
2. Emperor Wudi's House: refers to the hills and Hanguguan near Luoyang. Xiaoshan is an important mountain range in the Central Plains, and Hanguguan is an important pass in the Central Plains. It has been an ideal place for emperors to build their capital since ancient times. Liu Bang, Emperor Gaozu, once proclaimed himself emperor in Hanguguan, and Liu Che, Emperor Gaozu, once offered sacrifices to heaven and earth in Xiaoshan. In order to show his legal rule and cultural identity in the Central Plains, Emperor Xiaowen called this letter "Imperial House".
3. Heluowangli: refers to the place where the Yellow River and Luoshui meet, that is, Luoyang. Luoyang is one of the oldest capitals in the history of China. It was once the capital of Shang, Zhou, Han and Wei Dynasties, and also the political, economic and cultural center of the Central Plains. Emperor Xiaowen called Heluo Wang Li to show his feelings and belonging to the Central Plains.
