During the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period, Likou belonged to Huaisi County in the Jiangsu-Anhui Border Region. 1940,5438+00 June, Huaisi County established Likou District in Likou. 1May, 949, Siyang, Sishu and Huaisi merged into Siyang County, and Likou District was still established. 1958 established Likou People's Commune, 1983 restored the township organizational system and changed it to Likou Township.

In 2000, Likou, Qihu, Gezhuang, Ankang and Ma Yang withdrew from their villages and moved to their homes. In 2003, there were three neighborhood committees in Likou, Gezhuang and Qihu, and three administrative villages in Meng Ling, Dukou, Nongli, Lizhuang, Wuji, Lutang, South Canal, Tanba, Cui Chen, Lighthouse, Luo Xu and Liyuan.
