In the early Qing Dynasty, there was a ferry on the bank of the Yellow River. Li set up Yidu, hence the name. Li bite. " In the fifth year of Xianfeng (1885), the Yellow River changed its course and entered the sea from Lijin, Shandong Province in the north, where it dried up and became an abandoned Yellow River. Wen Sheng Luo Shen and Yang Yao gathered here and changed their names to Li Jiakou. During the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period, Likou belonged to Huaisi County in the Jiangsu-Anhui Border Region. 1940,5438+00 June, Huaisi County established Likou District in Likou. 1May, 949, Siyang, Sishu and Huaisi merged into Siyang County, and Likou District was still established. 1958 established Likou People's Commune, 1983 restored the township organizational system and changed it to Likou Township.

In 2000, Likou, Qihu, Gezhuang, Ankang and Ma Yang withdrew from their villages and moved to their homes. In 2003, there were three neighborhood committees in Likou, Gezhuang and Qihu, and three administrative villages in Meng Ling, Dukou, Nongli, Lizhuang, Wuji, Lutang, South Canal, Tanba, Cui Chen, Lighthouse, Luo Xu and Liyuan.
