The handicraft industry in the Song Dynasty was particularly developed, and the Song Dynasty was also a particularly prosperous period. At this time of the Song Dynasty, there were many domestic civil servants, and there was a situation of valuing literature over martial arts. As an emperor who was born as a military attache, Zhao Kuangyin was particularly afraid of the military attache's ability, so he has been cultivating a team of civil servants. The excessive number of civil servants in the Song Dynasty also led to a particularly tragic situation in the late Northern Song Dynasty. We think the Song Dynasty is a particularly interesting period. Although the economy was prosperous during this period, there were many pedantic ideas in the Song Dynasty. For example, the disgusting behavior of foot binding appeared in the Song Dynasty, and there were many ideas in the Song Dynasty to safeguard justice and destroy human desires. So we think the Song Dynasty is particularly complicated and interesting. Therefore, we think the second interesting historical period is the Song Dynasty.
