Is there really a Sun Shangxiang in history?
There is no mention of this lady's real name in the official history of the Three Kingdoms.

In the novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms, it is mentioned that Sun Jian's daughter's name is Sun Ren, and the lady who appeared later is obviously this Sun Ren.

However, this statement is also inaccurate, because Pei Songzhi mentioned Lang, a descendant of Sun Jian, as an alias, which means that he is actually a person.

Obviously, The Romance of Three Kingdoms misunderstood this point.

"Han Shu Jin Shu Chun Qiu" records: "Mrs. Sun is also the daughter of General (Sun) Jane, who was defeated by the Han Dynasty and was named benevolent.

Since Sun Lang is also called Sun Ren, it is unreasonable for Mrs Sun to be called Sun Renxian. As for this name, it is still a mystery.

As for the name "Sun Shangxiang", it is said that it first appeared in the drama "Ji Luo Ji", and the owner of this name is obviously Mrs. Sun in the Three Kingdoms and the Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

Now, the well-known name of ordinary people is "Sun Shangxiang", which does not exist in this period of history but only appears in the play.
