Xinhua has a long history.

As the center of Dameishan area, Chiyou and its tribe flourished here as early as 5,000 years ago. Before Xining became a county in five years in Song Dynasty, it was in the history of "going abroad" for a long time, and it was a mysterious place "not connected with China".
