From 65438 to 0950, the All-China Sports Federation held a symposium on Wushu work to advocate the development of Wushu. During the period of 1953, a national sports performance and competition conference with martial arts as the main content was held in Tianjin. From 65438 to 0957, the State Sports Commission listed Wushu as a sports competition, and compiled and published "Simplified Tai Ji Chuan" and a large number of Changquan boxing methods and mechanical routines. These routines have become the basic teaching materials for popularizing Wushu among the masses and schools, and promoted the unification of technical norms. 1958, the Chinese Wushu Association was established in Beijing, and in the same year, the first Wushu competition rules were drafted and formulated, and five competition routines of boxing, knife, gun, sword and stick were compiled. This has promoted the systematization, standardization and scientificity of Wushu training, and promoted the improvement of Wushu technical level. At the same time, under the unified guidance of the State Sports Commission, various Wushu organizations have been established in various places, forming a wide network of mass Wushu activities. The socialization of Wushu has been greatly improved.
However, due to lack of experience, imperfect organization and other reasons, some chaos appeared in Wushu shortly after the founding of the People's Republic of China. Under the guidance of 65438-0955, the development of Wushu is more cautious. The turmoil in the next decade was a serious damage to the development of Wushu, leading to the decline and loss of many boxing styles and schools. At the same time, competitive Wushu has destroyed the style and routine structure of Wushu to some extent because of its excessive pursuit of aerial movements and artistic effects, and has not really inherited and developed traditional Wushu.
The Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Party injected new vitality into Wushu. 1979, the state sports commission issued the notice on excavating and sorting out Wushu heritage. In the investigation and excavation of Wushu in the following years, it is found that there are 129 kinds of boxing with orderly origin, clear boxing theory, unique style and self-contained system in China. This excavation has had a great influence on the inheritance and development of Wushu. 19821February, the first national Wushu work conference was held in Beijing, which was the largest and most important Wushu conference since the founding of the People's Republic of China. The meeting summed up the experience of Wushu work in the past 30 years, put forward the principles, tasks and measures of Wushu work, and pointed out the direction for Wushu work. Since then, various martial arts organizations have flourished. According to incomplete statistics, there are more than 10,000 gymnasiums, stations, clubs and schools in various forms, and tens of thousands of counseling stations and boxing points in various forms. About 60 million people in China participate in Wushu school activities. The State Sports Commission also launched a nationwide 199 1 "Hometown of Wushu", which further promoted the development of mass Wushu activities. Wushu has entered the classrooms of universities, middle schools and primary schools, and Wushu activities in military camps and rural areas have become increasingly active. Many places even actively develop Wushu resources, such as 1988 China International Wushu Festival held in Hangzhou, which is an international grand gathering integrating sports, culture, trade and tourism, showing the rich connotation and charm of Wushu. In the spirit of "active and steady", Sanda was approved as an official sports event in 1989 after ten years of fixed-point testing, which made the offensive and defensive fighting technology of Wushu tested and developed in the competition practice. In order to meet the demand of "national fitness", the Wushu Sports Management Center of the State Physical Education Commission issued "China Wushu Grades" on 1994, which was officially launched on 1998. At the same time, the academic research of Wushu is also developing vigorously. Since the first national Wushu academic seminar was held in Beijing from 65438 to 0987, there have been such seminars every year, which greatly promoted the extensive and in-depth study of Wushu theory.
The most gratifying thing is that 1996, the State Council Academic Degree Office officially approved the establishment of a doctoral program in physical education and martial arts. This indicates that Wushu, as a discipline, has entered the research hall of academic field. As a national traditional sports, it ranks as five categories of sports disciplines together with sports training, physical education, sports human science and social sports. It is believed that in the future, Wushu will further develop in a scientific direction on the basis of inheriting tradition.
The influence and development of Wushu in the world
Popularizing Wushu to the world and expanding the influence of Chinese Wushu overseas are of far-reaching significance for demonstrating the unique wisdom and strength of the Chinese nation, developing international cultural exchanges and enhancing the friendship of people all over the world.
1960, the China Wushu Team visited the former Czechoslovakia, which opened the prelude to the foreign exchange of Wushu. Subsequently, the state and local governments sent Wushu troupes and teams to perform and visit abroad for many times, which contributed to the diplomatic work of New China. These activities undoubtedly played a great role in promoting the international influence of Wushu, but it was after the 1980s that Wushu really embarked on the internationalization process.
