In August 2005, the Ministry of Commerce published the list of "200 enterprises with the largest export volume in China in 2004", and Midea ranked 57th. In September, 2005, Midea ranked 59th in the "Top 500 Large Enterprises (Groups) in China in 2004" published by China Industrial Enterprise Information Publishing Center of National Bureau of Statistics.
