Quanzhou is surrounded by mountains, facing the sea, with rolling mountains, vertical and horizontal canyons and vertical and horizontal basins. There are 455 peaks above 1000 meters above sea level, which are mainly distributed in some mountainous areas of Dehua, Yongchun, Anxi and Nan 'an.
