The Historical Evolution of Shenzhen Xixiang Middle School
Xixiang Middle School is a rural middle school founded by/kloc-0 in the autumn of 1969. As we all know, 1969 China is in a frenzied period of "mass struggle", and education is also in an absurd era of "intellectuals being labored" and "knowledge being useless". Without a school site, classrooms and equipment, Xixiang Middle School was born! At that time, the school site of Xixiang Agricultural Middle School and two dilapidated tile-roofed school buildings were borrowed as classrooms and dormitories. The desks, chairs, bedsteads, office chairs and bedplates of the students in the classroom are all allocated from Nantou Middle School according to the number of students and the number of teaching staff. At the beginning, a high school class was established, with 17 students and 5 faculty members. The academic system is two years. The person in charge at that time was Comrade Peng Tao.

1970 recruited another senior high school class with two * * *. Due to the shortage of school buildings, but under the concern of the commune revolutionary Committee, the commune was mobilized to raise funds and the brigade sent workers. Wood was cut by teachers and students to Tiegang Reservoir, and stones were picked up from the hillside around Zhu 'ao. Four classrooms were built as planned, but only two were built due to lack of funds.

/kloc-in the autumn of 0/972, the school moved from Zhu 'ao to the south of Longzhu Mountain (the current school site). At that time, two bungalow schoolhouses were built, and most of the building materials were dismantled and transported from Zhu 'ao by teachers and students. There are three classrooms in one building and nine rooms in another building, each of which is less than seven square meters.

1973 Comrade Chen became the principal and started to run junior high school classes. Until 1980, there were only seven classes in the whole school. 1980 Xixiang middle school senior high school class was cancelled and merged into nantou middle school. It was not until 1983 that senior high school classes were resumed. During this period, during the Cultural Revolution, Xixiang Middle School had developed to some extent. Due to the interference of the ultra-left ideological trend of the Gang of Four, the teaching quality can not be improved. At that time, 1 1 year was held, with no more than 200 students and only 14 staff, and there was not even a decent playground. The quality of teaching at that time was average. Teacher Huang Zhiguang is an old teacher in western China. He once wrote such a poem: "At the beginning of Zhu 'ao in the west, he chopped thorns and raised silver hoes, practiced hard in the base areas and trained talents." Teacher Huang's short poem tells the sad nightmare that Chinese and western civilizations were fooled and knowledge was devalued in that extraordinary era.

After the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee, the spring breeze of reform and opening up spread all over China. With the care of party committees and governments at all levels and the strong support of Xixiang people, Chinese and western people overcame difficulties with the spirit of putting pressure on themselves and taking the initiative, and turned an unremarkable township middle school into 1995 the first district-level school in Baoan District, 1997 the first municipal school and 1998 the first batch of schools with good school-running benefits in Shenzhen. In 2000, it was rated as a provincial-level first-class school, in 2002, it was rated as the first batch of educational informatization demonstration schools in Baoan District, and in 2003, it was rated as a green school in Guangdong Province. Good school-running benefits have condensed the sweat of previous principals, teachers and students, and won a high social reputation.
