Lesson 23 The Road to Tragedy

ji xianlin

Out of the house, turn right, only twenty or thirty steps, and walk into a winding path. For twenty or thirty years, I have walked this way to the office every day. Because meeting every day is commonplace and a bit indifferent.

However, this secluded path is very famous. I remember that in the 1950s, I visited an exhibition about A Dream of Red Mansions on a tower in the Forbidden City. I saw a group of paintings composed of several landscape paintings, which painted this road. This road has something to do with this masterpiece. As for the contact, I don't remember it clearly. There is only a little impression left in my memory: this ordinary road is well-founded and cannot be taken lightly.

This road is a very quiet place in the Yan Garden. Students call it "Houhu", and they seldom come here. What I said above is ordinary, which is a bit of a misnomer. This is actually quite unusual. One side is near the lake, and the other side is tortuous, which is really interesting. There are many pines and cypresses on the mountain. No matter spring, summer, autumn and winter, there is always jade in front of you. Unknown florets that bloom in spring will change color after a while until the end of autumn. In summer, the mountains are thick green, and people seem to walk through a green fog. Birds in the forest and cicadas in the branches seem to answer each other. In autumn, maple leaves turn red, which is in harmony with pine and cypress, full of sadness and intensity. I can hardly tell the four seasons.

On the other side of the path is the lotus pond, which attracts attention mainly in summer. At this time, the green leaves welcome the sky and the red lotus reflects the sun. It seems that an incomparably powerful vitality comes out of generate, deep underground. Going up, up, up, and trying to compare with the weather can really make cowards stand up strongly and give people endless attraction.

Whether on the mountain or in the lake, winter is of course covered with snow. In the lake, the green waves in the past were replaced by hard ice. However, in mountainous areas, although deciduous trees have fallen leaves, pines and cypresses are more energetic and greener, which means that if you want to make up for what other trees have lost, you must show the power of green. Coupled with the support of bamboo, people in it will never feel the bleak winter.

This magical path is generally like this.

Among all these magical things, what impressed me the most and impressed me the most was an ancient vine. Vines are a popular plant. There are many descriptions of Beijing rattan in Notes of Qing Dynasty. In ancient temples and famous gardens, there are often several vines that have lived for hundreds of years, and many fairy tales often involve vines. Now Peking University Yan Garden is a famous garden in Qing Dynasty, and there are several Gu Teng plants, which are naturally suitable for you. When we first moved out of the city, we could still see several vines that were said to have been handed down from the Ming Dynasty. Every spring, purple flowers bloom all over the shed, attracting tourists and bees to gather together and become a spring scene.

However, according to my personal evaluation, among many vines, the most distinctive one is the secluded path. It has neither shed nor shelf, but lets its branches cling to the trunks and branches of several adjacent trees, winding up and probably soaring. So from below, except for a dark, ancient and vigorous black dragon-like thick stem, there is no vine at all. Every spring, I walk under a tree without vines in front of me and in my heart. However, a faint fragrance suddenly broke into my nose, and the buzz of bees also hit my ears. When I looked up, I could see the purple flowers in the green leaf cloud-I can't tell which are the leaves of vines and which are the leaves of other trees-vaguely, which means a little red in evergreen trees. Until now, I clearly realized the existence of this Gu Teng, and I enjoyed it.

After an unprecedented ten-year catastrophe, not only people were robbed, but also flowers and trees were not spared. Grapevine and other ancient lilac trees were alienated into "revisionism" and were ruthlessly punished. Two famous Gu Teng trees in front of the Sixth Hospital and between the Red Third Floor and the Red Third Floor were resolutely, thoroughly, cleanly and thoroughly destroyed. Whether I have set foot on a thousands of feet, I dare not talk nonsense without investigation and research; It is an ironclad fact that you will never turn over.

Only the vines in this secluded path are left in the huge Yan Garden. It became the inspiration of Ludian in the vine world of Yanyuan. Every spring, when I am sad and disappointed, the only consolation is Gu Teng in this secluded path. Every time I walk under it, I smell the faint fragrance and hear the buzzing bees, I feel that the world is still worth nostalgia, and life is not all thorns. Among them, I am the only one who knows how to feel, which is not enough for outsiders.

However, I was happy too early. After all, life is still a thorn bush, and roses are by no means everywhere. This spring, when I walked past the place where this Gu Teng tree grew, my eyes lit up and I was shocked: Gu Teng's original volley turned into Rise of the Legend, and the lower part was cut off, leaving only the upper part hanging in the air, swaying with the wind. Looking up again, the clusters of lilacs just blooming on the vine are still smiling among the green leaves. They haven't had time to know that their roots have been cut off from the ground and there is no water for them to survive. They seem to be orphans who have lost their mothers, and soon they will not be able to laugh or even cry.

I am a hopeless person. I feel too much, and the supply always exceeds the demand, which often causes a lot of leisure troubles for some small animals and flowers. Real great men never do this. On the other hand, if they are like me, they will never be great men. I still have some self-knowledge. I am destined to be a nobody, and I am willing to be like this. I am willing to cry and sigh for some cats and dogs. The pain caused by Gu Teng's death in my heart is beyond others' understanding.

From then on, I liked the road, and I was a little afraid to leave. I dare not look at the withered Gu Teng hanging in the air. It's really like eating food, which makes my hair stand on end. When I had to leave, I closed my eyes and hurried by. Counting in my mind: one, two, three, four, counting to ten, it is estimated that I have reached the bridge, and I will not see the food, so I will go forward with my eyes open. At this point, I am so sad that where can I enjoy the taste of secluded paths?

However, this will not work either. Although the eyes are closed, the ears can't be closed. Vaguely heard Gu Teng's cry, as thin as mosquitoes and flies, but vaguely discernible. It accused people of being killed for no reason. It has been here for 200-300 years, and it has been living in harmony with the trees it is attached to. Although it has read all the vicissitudes of life, it has never caused harm to people. Every spring, I add beauty to the world with my own flowers, but I don't know if it is destroyed by fools. I feel extremely wronged and have nowhere to complain. Its soul is here. Every moonlit and windy night, it will come out and become a saint. In broad daylight, you can only cry secretly. The trees on the mountain and the lotus in the pond are deeply sympathetic to it, but they are constrained by nature and can't move, so they can only be speechless. In the vast world, people fight for the government and the city for fame. Where do they care about a Gu Teng's life and death? So, it just cries, cries, cries. ...

There are probably not many hopeless people like me in the world. I'm afraid I'm the only one who can hear Gu Teng's crying. In the world, among all kinds of plants, the Gu Teng in this Yanyuan is really too small. If you ask a man in Yanyuan, no one will notice the existence of this Gu Teng, no one will care about its death, and no one will feel sorry for it. It happened that a person like me let me live in this place and let me go this secluded path, and such a small tragedy happened again; All these accidents come together and I can't breathe. This cross caused by my own character, only I have to carry it myself. Helpless, helpless!

However, I am willing to carry this cross forever.

Three. Introduction to writing background

The article was written in 1992. At the time of writing, this vine was destroyed in this spring. Fifteen years have passed since the "Ten-year Catastrophe", and the spring breeze of reform is blowing strongly and great achievements have been made. However, due to the need to further improve the quality of the people, there has been a phenomenon of "ignorance ruining beauty". The author urgently feels that he must strive to realize rejuvenating the country through science and education and rapidly improve the ideological, cultural and aesthetic quality of the people, so he writes this article with a great sense of mission.

Fourth, the structure of the article

The full text consists of 16 natural segment, which is divided into two parts.

The first part (paragraph 1 ~ 1 1) describes the tragedy of the secluded path and a nearby Gu Teng.

It can be divided into two levels.

On the first floor (1-6), write a magical path, which is full of vitality all year round and makes people feel the vitality of life.

This layer writes this secluded path first, which is the road that "I" takes every day. It is common and ordinary. Later, I found some connection with A Dream of Red Mansions, and felt that it was well-founded and could not be taken lightly. It implies that this secluded path has a deep cultural connotation, which paves the way for writing a Gu Teng below and shows the unusual Gu Teng. In this way, we can understand the meanings of the words "only I know" and "others can't understand", and we can also understand why this ancient vine will cause great sadness to the author after being cut down.

Then write about the secluded path and its surroundings. It's specially written. It is located between lakes and mountains, with beautiful environment, winding and winding paths. Throughout the year, the scenery changes, flowers, trees and birds sing cicadas, all of which are full of vigorous vitality. The author focuses on "green": in spring, green is in sight; In summer, a thick green, "people seem to walk through a green fog"; In autumn, the red maple leaves and the green of pine and cypress set each other off; In winter, the green of pine and cypress is more intense, and under the support of bamboo, it shows the "green power". In this way, "green" runs through the scenery all year round, reflecting the author's love for nature and concern for life in nature. The purpose of writing a secluded path is to write about that vine. This can make the human body realize that it is natural for the following author to be so concerned about the fate of that vine. The content of the article is closely related.

On the second floor (section 7 ~ 1 1), one of the most distinctive vines was cut off, and the author felt sorry for it.

In the seventh paragraph, vines have always been loved by people: they are recorded in the notes of the Qing Dynasty and often involved in fairy tales. There are often several Gu Teng trees in famous gardens. The author thinks that among many Gu Teng, this secluded path is the most magical. The eighth paragraph describes its characteristics from several aspects: it clings to the adjacent trees-there is no shed or frame; Dry and rough, winding up, straight to Qingyun-full of vitality, long life; Hidden in the evergreen bushes, when the purple flowers exude fragrance, people notice its existence-unobtrusive, secluded. The author naturally regards it as a treasure among treasures and often takes care of it.

Paragraph 9 ~ 1 1 writes that it is particularly gratifying that other Gu Teng were looted during the Cultural Revolution, but this one survived. The author also experienced the disaster of the Cultural Revolution. Perhaps the author has something in common with his experience, so the author thinks that "the only comfort in grief and melancholy is Gu Teng in this secluded path" and "the world is still worth nostalgia, and life is not all thorns". Unexpectedly, this Gu Teng tree escaped a catastrophe, but was destroyed by fools. Maybe this person thinks this vine will affect the growth of big trees. Maybe this person thinks this vine is not beautiful and should be cut down. In a word, he doesn't understand that this is a guteng with cultural connotation, and this is a guteng full of vitality. He is so ignorant of cherishing natural life. The author painfully wrote down the tragic situation after it was cut, and it became a foodie, like an orphan who lost his mother, and there was no place to cry. The author wrote anthropomorphically that its flowers were still smiling among the green leaves, and had not had time to know that its roots had been cut off. This is even more painful and sad.

The second part (paragraphs 12 ~ 16) describes the tragedy of ancient wisteria, reflects the good and evil of human nature, and expresses the author's grief and sadness over the destruction of natural objects, as well as his concern and love for nature and life.

In paragraph 12, the author described himself as a "nobody" and never became a great man, and said, "I would like to cry and sigh for some cats and dogs." In fact, this reflects the delicacy and richness of his feelings.

13 specifically describes the pain that others can't understand caused by "the death of this Gu Teng" in his mind. It is sad to write that I dare not take the secluded path I once loved, and to see Gu Teng withering in the air, "makes my hair stand on end" and "closes my eyes and rushes over".

14 uses personification to write the crying and telling of the chopped Gu Teng. With rich imagination, the author wrote Gu Teng's sorrow in great detail. The cry of "as thin as mosquitoes and flies, but indistinguishable" accuses fools of unreasonable logging. Here, "unprovoked" (unprovoked) illustrates the stupidity of loggers and highlights Gu Teng's sorrow. The article then describes Gu Teng's psychological activities: every spring, he adds beauty to the world with his own flowers, but he is cut down innocently, feeling extremely wronged. The natural objects around us deeply sympathize with it, but they can't think, so they can only be speechless. Many people only care about their own interests and have no leisure to care about this Gu Teng. Therefore, it can only express its sadness by crying.

Paragraphs 15 and 16 describe my deep feelings about Gu Teng's death. There are probably not many worthless people like me in the world. The word "I am afraid" in "I am afraid that only I can hear Gu Teng's crying" is both estimated and used accurately in the sentence. The author spoke highly of the smallness of this vine: "it can't be smaller" and said that no one would notice this vine. These are all to highlight my concern and love for it. The three "never" have internal logical relations. First, no one will notice its existence, and certainly won't care about its death. They won't be sad after it dies. The four "unluckily" actually spoke out the inevitability, because it was "I" who met the tragedy of this Gu Teng tree, which caused "I" such rich feelings and many regrets. This cross made of my own character can only be recited by myself. The "cross" in this sentence originally refers to the symbol of Christian belief and is also regarded as a symbol of suffering or death. It means asking for trouble here

"I am willing to carry this cross on my back, forever and ever", which shows that the author should always adhere to the concern and love for nature and life.

Analysis of key sentences of verb (abbreviation of verb)

1. Among all these magical things, what impressed me the most and impressed me the most was an ancient vine.

This sentence plays a connecting role in this article, from all kinds of magical scenes in the secluded path to the description of Gu Teng. The magical scene written above sets off the Gu Teng to be written below, thus highlighting the nostalgia and unforgettable memory of Gu Teng.

2. Only the vines in this secluded path are left in the huge Yan Garden. It became the inspiration of Ludian in the vine world of Yanyuan.

This sentence expresses the author's great love for the only vines left after the disaster, and is also a great indignation at the bad behavior of ignorant people cutting down the vines in Yanyuan for no reason.

3. Every time I walk under it, I smell faint fragrance and hear buzzing bees, and suddenly I feel that the world is still worth nostalgia, and life is not all thorns.

"Light fragrance, buzzing bees" wrote the author's understanding of nature. The existence of a Gu Teng changed the author's indignation at current events and rekindled the fire of hope for life.

4. Guten's original volley suddenly ate food, and the lower part was cut off, leaving only the upper part hanging in the air and swaying with the wind.

Chihuo vividly describes the strange scene of Gu Teng being chopped, and writes the author's incomparable surprise at this scene. Swaying in the Wind shows the author's frustration and helplessness.

Like an orphan who lost his mother, he will soon be unable to laugh and even have no place to cry.

Compared with Orphaned Mothers, he vividly wrote the bleak scene of Gu Teng being cut off. "Crying Nowhere" wrote people's indignation and sorrow for Gu Teng's indifference.

6. I have too many feelings, and always supply exceeds demand, which often causes a lot of leisure troubles for some small animals and flowers. Real great men never do this.

The author compares himself with the so-called great man and writes himself in a self-blaming tone, which is actually a musical pen. It shows the exquisiteness and richness of the author's feelings and his love for life and nature. Putting the "great man" on his own opposite is undoubtedly with contempt and rejection.

7. Its soul stays here. Every clear night, it will come out and become a saint.

"Soul" and "sage" are all superstitions. This sentence does not mean that the author believes in superstition, but reflects the author's unfair accusation against this Gu Teng tree and his great indignation against those who cut it down for no reason.

8. If you ask a person in Yanyuan, no one will notice the existence of this Gu Teng, no one will care about its death, and no one will feel sorry for it. It happened that a person like me let me live in this place and let me go this secluded path, and such a small tragedy happened again; All these accidents come together and I can't breathe.

The content of the three "never" is a hierarchical relationship. The former is the basis of the latter. Only when you notice it, will you "care" and "feel sorry" for its fate. Four "unluckily" lead readers' eyes to secluded paths and secluded Gu Teng step by step from their own perspectives. The three "never" and four "unluckily" are euphemistic and incisive, expressing the author's hatred for the unprovoked destruction of nature and life, and also lamenting the lack of emotional resonance in his "friendly voice".

9. I am willing to carry this cross forever.

The title at the end of this sentence shows that the author should always adhere to the concern and love for nature and life.

Sixth, writing characteristics.

1. Lay out the center layer by layer.

This paper has paved the way in many aspects. Writing a secluded path and writing more about Gu Teng are all paving the way for writing that Gu Teng; Many Gu Teng were not spared during the Cultural Revolution, but this one was the only one that survived, laying the groundwork for its tragic fate of being cut down by fools. From the full text, the previous description is to pave the way for the later lyricism. This better highlights the author's great concern and love for nature and life.

2. The description is exquisite and vivid, and the feelings are profound and rich.

The psychological description in the article is exquisite, and the author writes that he is sad about Gu Teng's death, causing pain that others can't understand, and his feelings are expressed incisively and vividly. The personification of Gu Teng's psychology is also a reflection of the author's psychology. "It is complaining about being killed for no reason" and "It feels extremely wronged and has no recourse", which are actually the author's heartfelt wishes.

Lyric, meticulous and moving from different angles, first of all, I said that I enjoyed this vine very much and that it was my only comfort. I think the world is still worth nostalgia, and life is not all thorns. This is a positive lyric. After the vine was cut down, I felt very sad and regretted it. This is a negative expression of my concern for nature and life. The author also expresses his inner feelings with exquisite brushwork, which is lyrical and incisive.

Problem solving after class

(1) Tip: You will feel that the secluded path has a long history, ordinary and extraordinary, and the scenery of the four seasons is beautiful, from which you can get comfort and nostalgia for life. After reading the tragedy of the secret path written below, you will be "creepy", because you will feel sad when you see the shape of the vine "the lower part is cut off, leaving only the upper part hanging in the air", because the vine flower doesn't know that its root has been cut off and "still smiles among the green leaves", and you will feel "extremely sad", as if hearing Gu Teng's cry. The author's narrative makes you feel the same.

(2) Prompt: 1. Gu Teng's feelings are inseparable from the specific environment. "After the unprecedented catastrophe of 10, not only people were robbed, but also flowers and trees were not spared", and this vine became "the light of Ludian in the rattan circle in the Yanyuan Garden", which was the only one left, thus becoming the only spiritual sustenance and comfort.

The author despises his so-called great man. "Real great men will never be like this", in which "like this" means that they are full of feelings, "often causing a lot of leisure troubles to some small animals and flowers" and have the heart of fraternity. Great people will never love creatures, be ruthless, or even kill innocent people. The author puts the "great man" on his opposite side, which is undoubtedly a feeling of contempt and rejection.

3. The author criticizes the world's pursuit of fame and fortune, lack of care and sympathy for nature and others, selfishness, indifference and ruthlessness.

(3) Hint: "Ignorance destroys beauty" means that people in the world only care about their own vital interests, and they can't feel the beauty brought by Gu Teng, so they cut it down for no reason. This kind of behavior is a short-sighted stupid behavior and an ugly behavior that destroys nature and life. From this, we feel that we should cherish life and love nature, so as to live in harmony with nature.

One night, I practiced making sentences every day. The word used is "lively"

I said, "Yes. Make another sentence. "

I said, "Yes. Wait, don't! "

I don't understand what I have to say every day. I mean to appreciate her sentence and think it is a very good sentence. The word "lively" is often used on people or animals, but it is not new when it is made. The phrase "water is very lively" is really lively. Further on, I will write a poem. The most important thing in writing an article is to be different. ...............
