Shun, the legendary leader of the tribal alliance in the late clan society. Yao's surname, Yi Zuoyu, was named Yu's surname, Zhong Hua, known as "Yu Shun" in history and one of the "Three Emperors and Five Emperors". Shun is the representative of Dongyi nationality. Born with heavy pupils, filial piety and friendship, good at making pottery. Puban (now yongji city), its capital, is one of the five emperors.

Shun Di is a famous tribal leader of Dongyi Group after Tai Hao, Shao Hao and Chiyou. Dongyi nationality is one of the main ethnic sources of the Chinese nation, and the leaders of Dongyi nationality, such as Tai Hao, Shun, Boyi, all served as leaders of the early Chinese nation. Shun is an "oriental scholar". In this respect, myths and legends are consistent with archaeological excavations.

In the "Five Emperors" era, which was listed by Sima Qian as the beginning of China's official history, Dongyicong has been divided into many tribes that are constantly reorganized, such as the famous Chiyou, Zhuan Xu, Di Ku, Dishun, Hao Tao and Boyi, all of which originated from the earlier two tribes of Tai Hao and Shao Hao.

After the accession to the throne, coachable punished Nuo Nuo's subordinates and exiled four fierce (* * * workers, badger pocket, three seedlings, guns); Ren Xian made all walks of life prosperous (five punishments, Dayu water conservancy, Hou Ji agriculture and five religions), created a harmonious political situation and became the most powerful tribal alliance leader in the Central Plains.

In his later years, following the arrangement and suggestions of the four mountains, Zen was located in Dayu, traveled around the world by car, died in Cangwu County and was buried in Jiuyi Mountain. Posthumous title is Shun, also known as Emperor Shun and Yu Shun.

Shun Di is the originator of China's moral culture. "Historical Records" said: "The world is famous, starting from Yu Shun". The soul of Shun Di's cultural spirit of "putting morality first and attaching importance to education" has become an important promoter of the historical process of China from barbarism to civilization, and is one of the three major milestones of China culture.
