The first four digits of the certificate number are the annual code, which is the annual number of the teacher qualification;

The fifth and sixth digits are provincial administrative region codes, which represent the provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) where the issuing authority is located, and adopt the standard of "codes of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government" in the Code of Administrative Divisions of the People's Republic of China promulgated by the state;
