The road from Shantou Xidi Wharf to WaiMa Lukou 1km was mostly built in the early 20th century, which is characterized by shrinking one meter near the road as a "arcade" to avoid rain. There are decorative patterns near the doors and windows. Most of the "four Yong and one Sheng Ping" roads radiated by small parks are shopping shops with good quality and low price. There are also famous snacks, such as Xitianxiang Oyster Roast and Malao Palace Zongqiu.
