Where is the former site of the General Office of the Central Committee of the CPC Yang Jialing?
The former site of Yang Jialing Central Office is located in Yang Jialing Village, Qiaogou Town, Baota District, Yan 'an City.

The central office building was 194 1 built by cadres of the central government and nearby soldiers and civilians themselves. It looks like an airplane with wings on both sides, and there are overpasses leading to the back hill on the second and third floors. It looks like a hut, so people call it an "airplane building". When I was in Gai Lou, I had to quarry from the opposite mountain and blast it every morning. Mao Zedong used to work late into the night and sleep in the morning. This affected Mao Zedong's rest and finally decided that Mao Zedong would move to Zaoyuan. The west hall of the general office is the dining room of the central government and sometimes used as a meeting room. The window looks small, and there is no door that opens to the outside. This is for the sake of confidentiality. On the second floor is the office, where Ren, Li Fuchun, Yang and Wang Shoudao worked successively. On the third floor is the meeting room of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee and the Secretariat. The Political Bureau of the Central Committee often holds important meetings here and has formulated and adopted many important resolutions. Famous resolutions on several historical issues were discussed and adopted here. May 2 to May 23, 1942, Yan 'an-held here. Mao Zedong made a famous Yan 'an-Shanghai speech at the meeting, and Zhu De also made an important speech at the meeting.

The former site is an integral part of the former site of Yang Jialing Revolution. On March 4th 196 1, it was announced as a key cultural relic protection unit in Tong Tong. 19961June14th, which was announced by Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China as the patriotic education base of national key cultural relics protection units.
