Yanziji is located outside Guanyin Gate in the northern suburb of Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, China. It is one of the three famous rocks in the Yangtze River and a branch in the northeast of Yanshan Mountains. It is 36 meters above sea level. The rock stands upright on the river, facing the sky on three sides, and looks like a swallow spreading its wings, hence the name Yanziji. This is an important ferry in ancient times. Emperor Kangxi and Emperor Qianlong lived here when they went down to Jiangnan in the Qing Dynasty. Emperor Qianlong has a tablet of "Yanziji" in this book. "Yanji Sunset Red" is one of the 48 scenic spots in Jinling in the early Qing Dynasty. There are Hongji Temple, Guanyin Pavilion and Abandoned Yangge Pavilion in northern Shaanxi near Yanziji. There are 12 caves in Yanshan mountain range, which are formed by the impact of river water, mostly cliffs. Among them, Santai Cave is the deepest, widest and deepest. During the Opium War, British troops landed in Yanziji, pushing Nanjing.

Among the 48 scenic spots in ancient Jinling, there are 6: Yanji Sunset, Yongji River, Jiashan Wenjing, Hualong Tian Yu, Shogunate Ascending, and Ancient Cave in the Desert. In the early Qing Dynasty, when Emperor Kangxi and Emperor Qianlong went down to the south of the Yangtze River, they all anchored ships here. There is a tablet pavilion at the top of the Rocky Mountain. Under the stone tablet in the pavilion, there is a book Swallow Collection inscribed by Gan Qing Tommy Tam, with his poems on the back. Climbing at night, the white river on the moon is like practice, which is one of the "48 scenic spots in Jinling".

Yanziji has always been close to the great river, and the terrain is dangerous. It is an important Yangtze River ferry and military fortress. Known by the world as the first rock in the Yangtze River. It is said that among the 48 scenic spots in Jinling (Nanjing), there is Yanziji. But today, Nanjing, surrounded by dragons and tigers, is turned upside down, generous and has many scenic spots. This Yanziji is no longer among the important scenic spots. There are many rocks along the Yangtze River. The Quarry Collection is often mentioned in history books, which is a place where many wars have taken place. Chenglingji is often mentioned in hydrological forecast, which is a sign of observing the water level of the Yangtze River. Because of the combination of human landscape and natural landscape, the world-famous "No.1 in the world" is the "Yanziji" in Nanjing.

Scholars, poets, heroes and celebrities in the past dynasties were amazed at the tour and wrote poems and lyrics in succession. Jiao Hong of the Ming Dynasty said: "Jinling is a beautiful place, and the northern suburbs are the best." . Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty visited the south of the Yangtze River six times and Yanziji three times. At the end of the spring of 175 1, when I visited Yanziji for the first time, I was intoxicated by the magnificent scenery here and wrote a poem on the spur of the moment: "It is said that I wandered around Jiang Lan in those years, shaking the earth and overlooking Hong Tao. However, I like to plant sand into green fields, and the village has been farming for a long time. " And personally wrote the imperial book "Yanziji" in three regular script characters. The local government made giant imperial cards and built pavilions, which stood at the top of Yanziji Mountain. Reading poems, we can know that when Emperor Qianlong boarded Yanziji, there was a beach under it. The beach was green and the river tide had receded far away. Lord Qianlong hopes that this beautiful scenery will last forever. "Smoke and forest will live in harmony for a long time." Just 62 years after Qianlong last visited Yanziji, in the smoke of the First Opium War, the British invaders landed on Yanziji beach and forced the Qing court to sign the treaty of nanking, and China began to suffer humiliation from the great powers. In 1995, the Japanese invaders occupied Nanjing, creating the tragedy of the Nanjing Massacre, and the blood of tens of thousands of compatriots dyed the floodplain of Yanziji red. Emperor Qianlong's Imperial Monument Pavilion also became ruins several times. "One peak flies into the Yangtze River, like a swallow". Swallow-shaped rock areas, as delicate as swallows, bear the shame and pain of many ethnic groups. The red gravel rock wall seems to indicate the years of blood and fire. "Blue tears shed from the rock head, and water drops sank to the bottom of the river."
